Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to supply the silicone?
No. All standard silicone and materials required for your selected package are included in the price.
Do you remove the old silicone first?
Yes. Existing silicone within the package scope is removed, and the surfaces are cleaned and prepared before new silicone is applied.
Can I use my bath or shower straight away?
No. New silicone needs time to cure before being exposed to water. We'll advise you on the appropriate waiting period, based on the product used and conditions.
Can you remove black mould?
We can remove mouldy silicone and clean and prepare the joint before resealing. However, mould within grout, behind tiles or caused by underlying damp is not included.
Do you repair leaks?
No. Our service is for replacing existing bathroom silicone, not repairing plumbing leaks, damaged waterproofing, loose fittings or failed grout. Any underlying problems must be resolved before resealing.
What if my bathroom is unusually large?
Our fixed-price packages are intended for standard domestic bathrooms within the stated package limits. Larger or unusually complex bathrooms may not be suitable for online booking.
Do you offer different silicone colours?
White, black, dark grey, light grey and beige sanitary silicone is included as standard. Other colours are not currently included in our fixed-price packages.
